Mrs. Růžena Ničová was born on 14 May, 1923, in Brandýs nad Labem. When she was seven years old, her mother died, and since then she lived alternately with her grandmother in Brandýs and her uncles in Litvínov and Prague. In Prague, she met František Nič whom she married. In 1945, before the end of the war, they moved to her husband’s parents in Jedomělice, where her husband František joined the guerrillas. In 1950 they moved to Slaný. She recently became a widow and now lives in Slaný with her grandson.
